Join artist Jeff Koons as he reflects on his sculpture Balloon Venus Dolni Vestonice (Yellow) 2013-17.

Generously donated to the National Gallery of Australia by Steve and Kylie Shelley, Balloon Venus Dolni Vestonice (Yellow) is a gleaming 2.7m-high sculpture made of highly polished stainless steel with a yellow finish. Now on display in gallery 10 at the National Gallery, the sculpture is a vibrant example of Koons' ability to use contemporary practice to reinterpret art history.

Jeff Koons's visit to Kamberri/Canberra was made possible by the American Friends of the National Gallery of Australia Visiting Creatives Program.
