Caroline Garcia

2018 AUSART Fellow/Scholar

Caroline Garcia is a Sydney-born interdisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses video art and live performance. She has exhibited and performed widely throughout Australia and internationally.

Garcia’s AusArt Fellowship/Scholarship enabled her to undertake a Master of Fine Arts at The New School/Parsons School of Design in New York. There, she researched diasporic politics as well as dance and performance histories using colonial and popular-culture imagery.
